Just stumbled upon this book in an old book shop sometime recently.

It is very much true that our lives are all different, yet, 'we all live with the objective of being happy'.

If we ask any other whether he/she really knows what  is  'happiness', and 'how to be happy',  it is certain that we may not get quick and correct responses in most cases.

The author Dr Ben -Shahar, a Professor of Positive Psychology and an acknowledged popular teacher in Harvard, deserves to be congratulated  for bringing out this material that is really a' life-quality enhancer'. In an interesting narration throughout,  the author encourages the reader to understand the nature of happiness and strives to extend the benefit of being happier, to the readers. We can't just gloss over the pages but deep reflection is demanded. The  'Time-ins' in the book are intended to provide the readers open opportunities of reflection.

The book in less than 200 pages, contains three parts that includes, in the first part, an elaborate discussion on what happiness is and presentation of components of happy life. The second part lays focus on putting the ideas introduced in the previous part into practice in real life -settings. In the third part the author offers seven meditations containing thoughts on the nature of happiness and its relevance in our lives.

A happiness revolution is the sincere expectation for the labour of bringing out the book, a highly enjoyable primer on how to become happier.

When people recognize that true happiness is the ultimate currency, a broad world abundant in happiness but also of goodness could be realized.
